EVOLUTION MOBILE (PDA)

The Evolution Mobile add-on module allows your salespeople to securely interact with Pastel Evolution using mobile technology. Using a PDA or a mobile phone, salespeople can perform customer and inventory enquiries, and process sales orders, from any location. The system accesses live Pastel Evolution data, guaranteeing salespeople instant access to the latest available information. Salespeople can review customer orders and account details, check inventory levels, and reserve inventory by placing orders, all from the customer's premises, without a traditional landline connection.

The Evolution Mobile add-on module requires the following:

• On the mobile user side

-  A 3G or GPRS cell phone or PDA that supports HTML web browsing.

• On the Pastel Evolution server:

-  The Resolve add-on module (the full contact manager module).

-  Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server) V5 or higher.
